For dogs 6 months and older
This class is designed for dogs that have completed puppy training or have a basic understanding of obedience.
Our focus is on strengthening the relationship between you and your dog while improving everyday manners and reliability in real-life situations.
Each session is adapted to the needs of the students. During registration, you’ll have the opportunity to tell us what you’d like to work on so we can make each class beneficial for everyone.
We’ll work on:
● Loose leash walking
● Passing other dogs calmly
● Focus around distractions
● Reliable recall
● Impulse control
● Polite greetings
● Confidence-building exercises
● Introductory scent work
● Light on-leash agility
● Building communication and teamwork
Held in our relaxed horse arena setting, this class gives owners the opportunity to practice real-life skills while receiving encouragement and hands-on coaching.
If your dog has shown signs of aggression toward people or other dogs, please contact us before registering. Some dogs benefit from one-on-one training before joining a group class.
